About Fawzaan Capital

Run by people who've done the work.

Fawzaan Capital is the asset-management company of Fawzaan Group — built in Abuja and Kano to manage money without interest, and led from inside Nigeria's banking industry, not from a brochure.

The Company

What we are, in three sentences.

  • A non-interest fund and portfolio manager. We pool savings and run portfolios on real, screened assets — currently being licensed by Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission, with a venture-capital licence alongside.
  • Part of Fawzaan Group. The group sets one standard across its companies: independent custody, independent Shariah oversight, audited accounts.
  • Built for the long term. Fees, not spreads; partners, not borrowers; clients we expect to keep for decades.

Managing Director / CEO

Ibrahim Yusuf Adamu

Also Group Chief Operating Officer, Fawzaan Group

Ibrahim is an Islamic finance professional with more than ten years across conventional and non-interest banking in Nigeria, and he leads Fawzaan Capital's investment work.

He began in banking operations at Stanbic IBTC Bank and Jaiz Bank Plc, then moved into corporate treasury as a liquidity-management and fixed-income dealer. He was a pioneer staff member at both TAJBank Limited — where he served as one of the bank's Sponsored Individuals under the rules of Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission — and Rayyan Microfinance Bank, where he headed the investment and risk management department. Most recently, he led investment management at Konooz Investment Limited.

He is a Certified Shari’ah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA) with AAOIFI and a Senior Associate of the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals, and holds the Certified Islamic Banker (CIB) and Certified Islamic Specialist in Shari’ah Auditing (CISSA) credentials from CIBAFI — alongside further certifications spanning capital-market operations, Islamic liquidity and treasury management, information-security and business-continuity standards, blockchain and digital assets, and the implementation of IFSB standards.

Ibrahim holds a Master's in Islamic Finance Practice from INCEIF University, Kuala Lumpur — where he is now pursuing a PhD in Islamic Finance — together with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and a Higher National Diploma in Soil & Water Engineering.
